About Hope Peck
Hope Peck's career in legal support services began unexpectedly as a temporary position, but it quickly evolved into a lifelong passion. What started with delivering legal documents and court filings soon became a deep commitment to the legal support industry and the clients who depend on it.
Throughout the late 1980s and 1990s, Hope gained extensive experience working with several respected attorney service companies throughout Southern California. She also spent a year with a mid-sized entertainment law firm in Century City, further expanding her understanding of the legal profession and the unique needs of attorneys and their clients.
By 1995, Hope was managing the Out-of-County and Out-of-State Forwarding Department for Express Network's busy Downtown Los Angeles office. Her leadership skills and industry expertise led to additional management opportunities, including overseeing the company's Riverside office and assisting with operations in Santa Ana. In 1996, she was entrusted with restructuring and revitalizing the San Francisco office, a milestone that completed her preparation for business ownership.
Returning to Los Angeles in 2001, Hope founded Harbor Attorney Service on September 1, just days before the events of September 11 changed the nation. Despite the challenges that followed, Harbor Attorney Service earned a reputation for dependable, knowledgeable, and innovative legal support. The company developed lasting relationships with law firms and individual clients, particularly within the Plaintiff Class Action community, by consistently delivering exceptional service and creative solutions.
In 2005, Harbor Attorney Service was acquired by a major legal publishing company. Following the acquisition, Hope and her business partner worked on special projects for the publisher until the contract concluded in 2007.
Hope had already launched Certified Mobile Notary and Friendly Neighborhood Process Server in 2004. Since then, she has continued serving attorneys, businesses, and individuals as an independent process server, mobile notary, and consultant to legal support professionals throughout California.
